DayNight

Five cockpit colors, day or night, remembered on every page. Same idea as the white-label theming in the design system I co-built at PaySecure.

WPT 03· Pre-flight

How I work

Checklist · normal procedures
  • Keep it simple: Always

The best fix is usually the short one. The code I’m proudest of solved two problems in a few lines.

  • Discovery before solutions: Users first

As a PM I learned to talk to users before sketching anything. I still do it as an engineer.

  • Communication over cleverness: Write it down

Projects succeed on clear requirements, written tradeoffs and decisions others can build on.

  • Work I’d sign my name to: Checked

Accessible, consistent, reviewed, and built to last.

WPT 05· Coffee, music, sky

Off duty

  • Coffee

Espresso on a De’Longhi Dedica EC685, V60 when there’s time, and cold brew steeped in the fridge.

  • Guitar

About four years of it, mostly meditative fingerstyle. I played piano for years, until a friend accidentally short-circuited it.

  • Flight sim

The reason this site looks like a cockpit. Many hours in Microsoft Flight Simulator, and a private pilot licence someday.

  • Kitchen

I travel through food, then try to recreate the dishes at home.

  • Sky

Skygazing. Part of what made working at a space-tech startup so much fun.
